Brandon Powers is the final person I want to feature on this week of social media creators in the arts. He’s a choreographer, director, and consultant to theater producers about marketing. In one of his latest video he talks about how he’s trying to persuade producers to see themselves as media companies, with multiple potential revenue streams beyond only trying to get people to show up in person to a live performance.

Like me, Brandon is frustrated with the risk aversion and unwillingness for all kinds of arts presenters to change, try new things, come into the 21st century media lanscape, even as they are complaining about shrinking audiences.

Brandon is someone to follow if you want to get some new ideas about how new approaches to marketing and producing go hand in hand.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this series. Go back and check out the previous posts from this week if you haven’t already read them!
